Godshill Primary School

About  Godshill School

School.pngGodshill Primary School is a small, welcoming, caring school with the belief that a good education is the right of every child.

We aim to provide the best education by establishing good working partnerships with all those involved with the children attending our school. Through these partnerships we will work together to provide a wide, balanced and interesting curriculum to give each child a happy, confident start to their educational life and a continued desire to learn within a stimulating environment where they can feel valued, secure and where they will discover that learning is a pleasure! We have a fabulous team of teachers, teaching assistants, office and cleaning staff who all work incredibly hard to fulfil this vision for the children who attend our school.

We are very lucky to be based in a grade II listed building dating back to the 1800s when the school was re-built by Lord Yarborough. There has been a school in Godshill since 1615, set up by Lady Ann Worsley and we're still going strong today!

In 2010, Godshill Primary School became part of the Stenbury Federation. Within this federation, we are working closely with our neighbouring primary schools: Chillerton & Rookley and Wroxall.
